Partial Abstract

AquaLASTIC Polyurethane Injection Resin is a solvent free, 100% solid V.O.C. compliant, one component polyurethane injection resin. AquaLASTIC is a medium viscosity hydrophilic resin, which, after coming into contact with water, rapidly expands and cures to an extremely tough and flexible closed cell foam.

Designed to control water and seal moving non-structural cracks in concrete. Cracks and joints in concrete structures. It can also be used to saturate oil free oakum, or open cell backer rod to seal expansion/control joints. Cures to an extremely tough and adhesive foam capable of withstanding extreme thermal cycles and crack movement.
This product must be injected into a wet crack.
The crack should first be injected with AquaFLUSH or a suitable alternative, then flushed out with clean water prior to injection and sealing using AquaLASTIC.

It can also be used to saturate oil free oakum, or open cell backer rod to seal expansion/control joints. When there is a particularly heavy water flow, or at lower temperatures when it becomes desirable to speed up the reaction time to more effectively cut off the flow, we do have an accelerator (not an activator) called AquaLASTIC-ACT available. It will reduce the reaction time by approx 50%.
